Insurance
Psychotherapy services are not covered under OHIP but may be covered in full or in part by your supplementary health insurance or employee benefit plan.
After paying, you will be provided with a receipt to forward to your insurance company for reimbursement. I do not require a referral from your doctor but your insurance company might.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- Does my plan allow for treatment by a Registered Psychotherapist?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my physician?
Reduced Fee
I have a sliding scale for those who are unable to pay the full rate due to financial constraints.
